SANTA MONICA — Few of My Favorite Things is hosting a special Open House to commemorate its one-year anniversary in business on Saturday, Oct. 21, from noon until 5 p.m. Customers can indulge in complimentary hors d’oeuvres, champagne and cider as they shop for holiday gifts and decorative accessories.
“We’re offering 15 percent savings on everything in the store — for one day only,” said Jugneet Sethi, co-owner of the store.
Among the items the Westside emporium stocks are jewelry from Sweet Romance, Kenny MA and bohm; Woodstock Chimes; collectible Mary Frances Handbags from San Francisco; hand blown decorative glass art balls made by Kitras from Canada; assorted vases, platters, bowls and other tabletop items — all handcrafted and signed by the artists in Romania.
Few of My Favorite Things also features Classic Bamboo Collection furniture, Casa Bonita mirrors, faux pumpkins, goblins, garlands and more.
Nestled amongst busy medical buildings, offices, a knitting store, a gym and a busy pet store, the 1,000 square-foot retail store is located at 2114 Wilshire Blvd. The boutique is open Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Parking is available behind the store, in a lot accessible from 21st Street.
