WEST LA — The National Women’s Political Caucus (NWPC)-LA Westside has announced the election of Robyn Ritter Simon as president. NWPC is the nation’s only grassroots organization dedicated to getting pro-choice women elected and appointed to public office.
“If there ever was a time for women to be active in politics, this is it. Our right to choose is being threatened and we can protect that right by electing more pro-choice women to public office,” said Ritter Simon. “I’m looking forward to working with NWPC members and other community leaders to achieve this goal.”
Ritter Simon recently served as president and CEO of the Century City Chamber of Commerce and was vice president for the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, where she played a major role in boosting the organization’s membership and increasing the organization’s activity in the community.
Ritter Simon co-founded the Beverlywood Moms, a grassroots parent organization that worked to reform the neighborhood public elementary school.

SANTA MONICA — Rita’s Institute for Beautiful Skin, a Santa Monica-based medispa, is marking its one-year anniversary with the launch of its web site.
The Institute’s site (http://www.ritasifbs.com) offers Internet users an overview of the company, its staff and its products and services. The web site is designed to offer existing clients news and the convenience of online product and gift certificate purchases, and to provide information about the location, services and staff of the Institute.
“We wanted our clients and others to have a web site that is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also functional by enabling them to order their skin care products as well as gift certificates from the comfort of their own homes through the shopping interface,” said founder Rita Csizmadia-Fall. “We also hope that the site makes it easier for potential clients to learn about us and feel comfortable about visiting us for the first time.”
Rita’s Institute for Beautiful Skin, 1260 15th Street, offers a variety of skin care treatments, including European spa facials, acne treatments, peels, cosmecueticals and microdermabrasion.
