Marina del Rey retains Burditch

By Daily Press staff

MARINA DEL REY — Burditch Marketing Communications (BMC), an award-winning marketing communications firm based in Los Angeles, has been engaged by Marina del Rey Convention and Visitors Bureau for public relations in the U.S. and abroad.

Beverly Moore, Executive Director of Marina del Rey Convention and Visitors Bureau, conducted the search.

“The Visitors Bureau believes BMC’s strategic planning and integrated marketing expertise will accelerate the pace of the Marina’s growth in the tourism marketplace,” says Moore. “I personally am looking forward to taking advantage of their creative, kinetic energy, which they put into everything they do.”

BMC will handle all media communications, as well as marketing assistance and media event production for the destination. BMC’s travel and hospitality clients include, but are not limited to, Meadowood Napa Valley, the Relais and Chateaux resort; Simpson House Inn, Santa Barbara; Stags Leap District Winegrowers Association; Signorello Vineyards, Napa Valley; Edge Wines; Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Italy; Republic of Palau; and CordeValle, A Rosewood Resort.

“As an agency, focused on hotels, resorts, food and wine, we are excited to be working with Marina del Rey Convention and Visitors Bureau,” states Paul Burditch, President of BMC. “The area as a destination has some of the greatest attractions and accommodations in California, combining the land and sea. It incorporates a great watersports environment with recreational boating in one of the world’s largest man-made marinas, budget accommodations to luxury hotels, eating at family-friendly and destination restaurants along the harbor plus excellent shopping in independent boutiques in neighboring areas such as Venice and Playa del Rey. It is a great place to escape for a weekend with a loved one or the entire family.
