Sonderegger named Lowe VP

LOS ANGELES — Lowe Enterprises Inc., a national real estate investment, management and development firm, has named Santa Monica resident David Sonderegger senior vice president of Lowe Enterprises Real Estate Group.

Based in the firm’s Los Angeles office, Sonderegger is responsible for construction management of commercial and industrial development projects on the West Coast.

“David has been a key member of our development and construction team for more than eight years and has helped champion the successful construction of many high-profile development projects,” said Rick Newman, president, Lowe Enterprises Real Estate Group, Western Region.

During his tenure at Lowe Enterprises, Sonderegger has been involved in more than 3.5 million square feet of construction projects, including the 1.4-million-square-foot Howard Hughes Center in Los Angeles; The Exchange, a 1.8-million-square-foot mixed-use project in Hawthorne; and the 200,000-square-foot Specialty Labs Headquarters in Valencia. Recently, he completed construction of the 75,000-square-foot construction of the Ocean Ridge office building in San Diego and will soon begin work on The Vista at Rancho Bernardo, a planned three-building 270,000-square-foot office project in San Diego and renovation of a 315,000-square-foot office building in Portland.

He earned his B.S. from California State University, Long Beach.
