# Russ, August & Kabat to host silent art auction benefiting Public Counsel

A local law firm is collaborating with Los Angeles artists to benefit a pro bono law firm.

Russ, August & Kabat will host a silent auction of contemporary artists’ works to benefit Public Counsel, the L.A.-based national leader in pro bono public interest law.

The free, public silent auction will feature works by major California contemporary artists. More than 50 works of art, including contemporary sculptures, will be offered. Artists include Vasa, Brad Howe, Laddie John Dill, Woods Davy, Astrid Preston, Pattsi Valdez, Frank Romero and Jim Morphesis.

Prominent members of Los Angeles’ legal community also will be in attendance. The auction will be held at the newly expanded Russ, August & Kabat office, located at 12424 Wilshire Blvd., 12th floor on Jan. 19 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
