Free shots and examinations equals healthier kids and teens. In partnership with Saint John’s Health Center, Westside Family Health Center’s shots for tots and teens will provide free immunizations and TB skin tests to all infants, adolescents and teenagers under the age of 18\. California law requires that all children must have up-to-date shot records to attend school or child care centers. The immunizations will protect against diphtheria, hepatitis B, measles, rubella, hemophilus influenza, mumps, polio, tetanus and whooping cough — diseases known to infect small children, as well as teenagers.

Shots for tots and teens will be held on Feb. 4 from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Westside Family Health Center, 1711 Ocean Park Blvd.
