# Santa Monica Red Cross Volunteers Aid La Conchita and Santa Clarita Relief

Santa Monicans are asked to raise money for the local high school band this weekend by eating during a noontime jazz session.

The Santa Monica High School Jazz Band will be playing a lunch-time set at noon on Saturday, Jan. 22, at El Torito, located at Ocean Park Boulevard, near 32nd Street. People are asked to arrive early and bring their appetite for jazz and food. The Samohi Jazz Band will perform a full set. El Torito will donate a portion of the proceeds to the band. Santa Monica Red Cross comes to the rescue
