# Tom Brennan's collage exhibit 'Yes, with Flying Colors' opens Feb. 17 on Colorado Ave.

A new exhibit will offer an answer to people weary about our current political atmosphere.

West Coast author Ken Kesey (“One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest”) once invited the entire nation to answer the question, “can you pass the acid test?” Initially, that question was meant to gauge if someone could remain cool and calm with psy-chedelics in their system, but throughout the years, that question has become a simple code for, “can you survive what’s going on in our country?” Having been through that question, collage artist Tom Brennan proposes the answer: “Yes, with flying colors,” which is also the title of his latest, all-new collage art exhibit.

“The most important element at my exhibits is that people have fun,” Brennan said. “At every exhibit we get people who love to interact with the collages and become part of them. No one stands around.”

The exhibit will be held on Feb. 17 at 6 p.m. at the Design Center, located at 1119 Colorado Ave.
