# Letter: Vote yes on Prop. A to protect homeowners from city design rules

If you personally want a city bureaucracy dictating to you whether you can add a room on your house, or even change the paint color, then do as the city tells you and vote against Prop. A. After all, they are doing such a great job on every other local issue... the schools, traffic, homelessness... I’m sure you will enjoy your hearings while they try and decide what color you can paint your front door.

But do not believe them when they say they speak for the majority of people of 18th Street. We have taken a stand, and we are speaking for ourselves. Join us, and stand up for your rights, because your house could be next. Vote yes on Prop. A.
