# Heat wave sends thousands to the beach as temperatures hit low 90s

BEACH? BLANKET? BINGO! Fabian Lewkowicz It was back to the beach for thousands in the region on Tuesday, as temperatures reached the low 90s, according to accuweather.com. The heat wave will likely be short-lived, however, as temperatures are expected to return to the low-70s today and into the weekend.
