# City cuts down aging carob tree on Nebraska Avenue without notice

BIGGER THEY ARE Brandon Wise City workers cut down an aging carob tree on Nebraska Avenue and Franklin Street last week. ‘I had no 48 hour warning by the city before they came by and cut down this beautiful tree,’ said resident Vicky Andersen, who lives near the specimen and treasured the shade provided by it.
