The new Lincoln Center/West this week will celebrate both births and losses. The “Lincoln Center/West” will celebrate the completion of its construction on Friday, July 15, from 2-5 p.m. at 1315 Lincoln Blvd.

The event will include music and food, as well as the presence of Santa Monica City Councilmembers and dignitaries. In addition to the celebration and dedication ceremonies, the Lincoln Center/West will remember Jeffrey Siegel, a building contractor and avid pilot whose plane crashed in 2002\. Siegel was the original general contractor for Lincoln Center/West, and there will be a bronze plaque permanently placed on the building to honor his memory. The memorial event will take place at 2:15 p.m.
