# California Community Foundation awards grants to three Santa Monica arts groups

Thanks to the California Community Foundation, some Santa Monica artists are no longer “starving.”

The California Community Foundation recently awarded $1,172,211 to 13 individual artists and 24 arts organizations located in Los Angeles County.

Among the 24 organizations that were given grants — ranging from $7,250 to $60,000 — three of them were in Santa Monica.
