The city of Malibu recently made it tougher for filmmakers to secure permits to shoot within their boundaries, adhering to resident complaints of noise and disruption. Many feel a ripple effect could adversely affect filming in bordering cities, like Santa Monica.

So this week, Q-Line wants to know: Would you welcome a respite from the ongoing presence of filmmakers in the city, or is it invaluable promotion?

Call (310) 285-8106 before Friday at 5 p.m. and we’ll print your responses in the weekend edition. Please try to limit your comments to a minute or less.
