Market on the rebound... Last week marked the three-year anniversary of the Farmers’ Market crash, when an elderly driver plowed through the bustling market on Arizona Avenue, killing 10 people and injuring more than 50 more. The criminal and civil cases against the driver, Russell Weller, have been delayed numerous times, with a September trial date now scheduled. This week, Q-Line wants to know: “From what you know of the case, what is the best possible scenario for the defendant, the victims, the city and the Farmer’s Market to close this painful chapter in the city’s history?” Call 310 285-8106 or leave your post at smdp.com/forum and we’ll print your responses in the weekend edition.
