Board members of the Bayside Business District Corp. are looking for ways to bring in more revenue to increases services — such as hiring ambassadors to assist visitors and monitor for illegal activity — in and around the Third Street Promenade. Ways of increasing revenue could include increasing the amount of fees assessed on businesses by City Hall.

So this week, Q-Line wants to know, “Do you support requiring businesses to pay more to provide additional services downtown? Why or why not?”

Call (310) 285-8106 before Friday at 5 p.m. and we’ll print your responses in the weekend edition. Please try to limit your comments to a minute or less. It might help to think first about the wording of your response.
