# Letter: Whole Foods at Lincoln and Rose brings businesses and jobs

“IT’S GREAT THAT NEW BUSINESSES have moved in to Lincoln and Rose including the Whole Foods market, which spent millions upgrading the entire building, parking lot, and area, something the previous owners had not done. It’s great that there’s now fine wines stores on the street and in spite of what the proto-socalists have said about demanding living wages and local hires, Whole Foods have always done that. They are doing nothing here that they haven’t done in every other store. There were no special concessions of any kind given to anyone to start this store. Now maybe some of the winos in the area who always claim that there’s no work will show up there and actually ask for a job, show up regularly get employed and get off the streets. Hah! Fat chance of that.”
