# Letter: Whole Foods criticized for removing ficus trees from parking lot

“DEVELOPMENT LIKE WHOLE FOODS IS detrimental to the area. Whole Foods destroyed all the ficus trees in its parking lot. This is totally unnecessary. If they are really into whole foods and a whole earth, they should have kept those trees besides planting additional trees. I was looking forward to Whole Foods coming into the community, but now I will definitely not shop there because of their hypocritical move in killing those ficus trees.”
