# SMASH Rummage Sale Saturday, Oct. 14 Benefits Alternative School Programs

Find treasure of all kinds at the Santa Monica Alternative School House’s annual SMASH Rummage Sale on Saturday, Oct. 14, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This year’s sale features gently used clothing, appliances, books, toys, furniture and collectibles. More than 75 families contribute items to the sale. Proceeds from this event provide for programs in art, science and technology for the ethnically and economically diverse K-8 student population.

SMASH is located at Ocean Park Boulevard and Fifth Street. Admission is free. For more information, call (310) 396-2640.
