The Santa Monica City Council earlier this month discussed how many street performers should be allowed on the pier at any one time. The discussion turned into a larger debate about the atmosphere on the pier. Some elected officials think the pier should be quieter than it is today, with the idea that it should be a place to reflect and take in the natural beauty surrounding it.

So this week, Q-Line wants to know, “How do you envision the Santa Monica Pier in the future?”

Call (310) 285-8106 before 5 p.m. on Friday, and we’ll print your response in the weekend edition. Please limit comments to less than a minute. It might help to think first about the wording of your response.
