Santa Monica doyenne of the arts Bruria Finkel has assembled a collection of work by 36 female artists living in Southern California. “Then” refers to the women’s creations in the 1970s, while “Now” is clearly the present. The exhibition itself bridges the 30-plus-years that these self-identified feminists have been creating work.

SOCAL’S BEST WOMEN ARTISTS Women Artists of Southern California: Then + Now 6-9 p.m. Saturday, June 2 Opening Reception Exhibition runs through June 30, 2007 Track 16 Gallery Bergamot Station 2525 Michigan Ave. (310) 264-4678
