A play will be shown this month in Santa Monica that bears the souls of four men. Adapted by Bob Baker from stories written by Greg Goodheart, Eric Gordon, Don DeForest Paul and Larry Rubinstein, “Wagging Tails: Stories from the Stonewall Generation” sees a quartet of men disclosing significant events they experienced as children and young adults, as well as revelations about their present lives in Los Angeles. It’s been described as courageous, honest, funny and poignant.

The script grew from the stories Goodheart, Gordon, Paul and Rubinstein gathered at a series of oral history workshops. Baker previously adapted and directed the 2004 theater piece “Stories to Tell.” The play will be performed Feb. 24-26; Friday and Saturday at 8:30 p.m.; Sunday 2:30 p.m. at Highways Performance Space, located at 1651 18th St. Tickets are $15\. Visit www.highwaysperformance.org or call (310) 315-1459 for more information. Fastest theater in town ready to sprint
