Santa Monica Police and Fire departments responded to a vehicle accident on Saturday at 1:55 pm at the corner of Lincoln and Pico.
The vehicle was driving erratically, hitting curbs and narrowly missing motorcycles while traveling northbound on Lincoln. The vehicle stopped suddenly in the intersection of Lincoln and Pico, then sped off, jumped the center median and slammed into a tree in front of a liquor store.
Traffic was stopped in both directions while the fire department extracted the individual.
