Actor Michael Madsen pleaded no contest today for misdemeanor driving under the influence after he crashed his SUV into a pole in Malibu earlier this year, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced.
Madsen (dob 9/25/57) entered his plea to one count of driving with a .08% blood alcohol content within 10 years of another DUI offense.
He was immediately sentenced to four days in county jail and five years of summary probation.
Madsen was driving in Malibu on March 24 when his vehicle struck a pole. Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies arrived and Madsen was arrested.
Case 9VV00271 was investigated by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
