On August 1, 2017 at about 9:17 p.m.
Officers responded to a radio call for service at the Main Library – 601 Santa Monica Blvd. regarding a possible assault. Officers spoke with the victim and determined the victim was standing in an aisle in the library when the suspect walked towards the victim and unprovoked pushed him out of the way. The victim was desirous of prosecution. Officers located the suspect sitting on bench outside of the library. The suspect was taken into custody.
Miklica Ann Vanhausenberg, 24, homeless was arrested for assault and battery. Bail was set at $20,000.
