Christine Pride will visit Santa Monica on July 10 to celebrate her solo debut novel "All the Men I've Loved Again," which goes on sale July 8.

The author will appear in conversation with Tembi Locke at Zibby's Bookshop for a special evening that will also support the United Negro College Fund (LA Chapter), with a portion of proceeds donated to the organization.

"All the Men I've Loved Again" has been selected as a Most Anticipated Book of the Summer by People, Real Simple, theSkimm, TheGrio, the Root and other publications.

The novel follows Cora Belle, who arrives at college in 1999 ready to transform from a shy, sheltered girl into someone new. She unexpectedly falls for Lincoln, experiencing the rollercoaster of first love before a series of surprises, secrets and a shocking tragedy complicate her life. A new man, Aaron, enters the picture, creating further complications as Cora finds herself torn between two loves.

Twenty years later, an unexpected reconnection and chance encounter puts Cora back in the same position with the same two men, forcing her to confront everything she thought she knew about fate, love and herself.

Pride is the co-author of the Good Morning America Book Club Pick "We Are Not Like Them" and "You Were Always Mine."

Publishers Weekly praised the book, saying "The passionate love scenes and strong Black supporting cast will make this a hit with fans of Jasmine Guillory and Tia Williams."

Bestselling author Tia Williams called it "the ultimate" second-chance romance, writing, "Pride weaves a deliciously twisty, heartwarming story that spans decades, tempts fate, and is wildly relatable to anyone who's ever found themselves lost in 'it's complicated' love."

Annabel Monaghan, bestselling author of "Nora Goes Off Script," described it as "a fascinating exploration of love, fate and personal agency" and "a second chance romance to devour in one gulp."

The book explores themes of coming-of-age, second chances and self-discovery through what publishers describe as a "big-hearted" story for anyone who has wondered "what if" about a past love.
