Editor:
Rejecting the proposed items ban on items that be used as weapons is beyond idiotic.
That means frozen water bottles and soda cans as well as bricks and signs with wood posts can be used against our police, fire department and EMT’s putting them in harms way. I’m sure that our police won’t ask for a pat down for every protester to see if they are carrying any “dangerous” weapons.
I suggest that the city council members should be present and in the thick of it during the next riot and looting spree.
