Officers responded to the area of 1600 Ocean Front Walk in response to a person with a knife call. A male suspect had a knife and was waving it around. The suspect urinated on the bicycles at the bicycle rental shop and was yelling at people at the location. The bicycle workers told the subject to stop urinating on the bicycles. The subject grabbed a knife from his backpack, and lunged at the bicycle workers twice with the knife. Officers were able to locate the suspect in the immediate area. The suspect was positively identified and taken into custody. The knife was recovered in the suspect’s possession. Milton Anthony Paul, 48, homeless, was arrested for brandishing a weapon and urinating in public. Bail was set at $25,000.
