St. Monica’s boys’ basketball team was eliminated from the CIF-SS Division 5AA playoffs, 46-44, by Mission Prep Tuesday on the road.
The quarter-finals loss ends the Mariners’ playoff run. Mission Prep advanced to face Flintridge Prep in the semi-finals on Friday.
St. Monica was the final Santa Monica-based boys’ team to be knocked out of the playoffs.
