Boys’ soccer roundup: Samohi sent packing, Crossroads moves on

HESPERIA — Santa Monica High School’s boys’ soccer team was routed 4-0 Friday by Oak Hills in the quarter-finals of the California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section Division 4 playoffs.

HESPERIA — Santa Monica High School’s boys’ soccer team was routed 4-0 Friday by Oak Hills in the quarter-finals of the California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section Division 4 playoffs.

Samohi was the No. 1 seed in the division. Oak Hills advances to face Salesian on Tuesday in the semi-finals.

Crossroads moves on

Crossroads’ boys’ soccer team blanked San Jacinto, 1-0, on Friday to advance to the quarter-finals of the CIF-SS Division 6 playoffs.

The Roadrunners face Desert Hot Springs on the road Tuesday in the semi-finals. Crossroads is the final Santa Monica-based soccer team alive in this year’s playoffs.
