The Santa Monica History Museum received a $4,000 grant from the Employees Community Fund of Boeing California to be used toward youth programming.

The museum's "Magic of History" youth programs include free tours for school classes and youth groups, student volunteer opportunities, internships, educational programs, research projects and a children's history workshop.

Boeing systems analyst Robert Acherman presented the award to Museum Chair Eddie Guerboian on Aug. 3.

The museum is located at 1350 Seventh St., next to the main Santa Monica Library.
