The Santa Monica YMCA is in need of volunteer coaches and paid game officials for the upcoming fall youth basketball season.
Head coaching applicants must be at least 18 years old and submit a detailed background check. Assistant coaches may be younger than 18 years old. Game officials will be paid $10 per game. Although no experience is needed, knowledge of the game, desire to have fun and work with youth is a must.
Registration for the co-ed recreational league that runs from September through early December is available until Sept. 12 over the phone and in person.
