The Santa Monica Police Department is investigating an evening accident on Main Street that left several people with injuries.
According to SMPD, officers responded to a reported vehicle accident at about 8:30 p.m. on Friday night. Upon arrival, they discovered a vehicle had struck the barricades outside Urth Cafe on the 2300 block of Main Street.
Several people reported minor injuries and one individual was transported to a local hospital.
Officers closed sections of the street from the 2200 to the 2400 block until about 10 p.m.
