Authorities have identified the man who was killed in a shooting in Venice on Tuesday morning.
Lucas Zamora, 20, of Fresno was shot about 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at Brooks and Pacific avenues, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
After nearby neighbors heard the shooting, Zamora drove a short distance away and crashed into the Westminster Senior Center, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene, the Los Angeles County coroner’s office reported.
Police found Zamora’s crashed vehicle riddled with bullet holes from a car-to-car shooting.
No arrests have been made and LAPD is continuing to investigate the incident.
