Rosie’s Girls, a program designed to teach girls some of the finer points of manual labor, will celebrate its 10th year in Santa Monica on Saturday at the Main Library.

Rosie’s Girls, a program designed to teach girls some of the finer points of manual labor, will celebrate its 10th year in Santa Monica on Saturday at the Main Library.

The event will feature speakers and information about upcoming sessions of the program. The next session begins in April.

In the past, Rosie’s Girls have used their newly-acquired skills to assist local social service providers such as OPCCs Sojourn, a program for homeless women.
