City of Malibu Kicks Off First Adult Kickball League on September 15
Published:

With the growing success of the City’s Adult Sports Programs, the Community Services Department is offering the City of Malibu’s first co-ed adult kickball league starting September 15.

The city encourages the community to play kickball in order to stay physically active in a socially friendly and competitive setting. For $150, a team manager can register their team and compete in a round robin-style tournament against other teams in an eight-week-long season that includes playoffs and a championship game. The champion team will be given an end-of-season award plaque. All of the participating teams will play round robin games on Saturdays starting at 3:00 p.m. at Malibu Bluffs Park.

Team registration for the fall 2018 season is now open, and the season runs from September 15 through November 3. The league offers an excellent recreational opportunity people over 18 in the Malibu area. Sign up as a team or call 310-456-2489 ext. 358 to be placed on the free agent list.

All participants in the 2018 program will receive City of Malibu Adult Sports apparel at the start of the new program.
