Whether you’re into Zumba or beach volleyball, the city’s Community Recreation Programs offer something for nearly any taste.

Class descriptions, schedules and registration forms are available in the city newsletter Seascape, which is mailed to residents and available at many public facilities, or online at www.smgov.net/seascape.

Starting at 6 a.m. from Aug. 3-9, Santa Monica residents can take advantage of priority online-only registration. For those who need computer access, computers will be available for registration at Virginia Avenue Park (2200 Virginia Ave.) on Aug. 3 only, from 6-10 a.m. Computers are also available at all public library branches — visit www.smpl.org for hours. Non-resident online registration begins Aug. 10 at 6 a.m.

Proof of residency is required for Santa Monica residents (a driver’s license or government-issued photo ID and one of the following in the registrant’s name is required to verify residency: rental agreement, mortgage statement, or current utility bill.

Registration forms are available in Seascape or at www.smgov.net/recreation.
