On August 14, at about 1:27 a.m.
Officer responded to call of unknown trouble in the 1900 block of 18th St. The victim came home and discovered the suspect rummaging through some boxes on their property. The suspect attempted to leave on a bicycle that the victim knew did not belong to him. She called the police and the suspect proceeded to push her in an attempt to flee. Another officer responding to the area, was stopped at an intersection when the suspect pulled up next to his car and admitted to being involved in an altercation with a woman. A field show up was conducted and he was positively identified as the suspect. He arrested and transported to the SMPD Jail. Joseph Michael Mais, 64, from Rosemead was arrested for robbery.
