On September 26, at about 2:22 p.m.
While on foot conducting a periodic check in Tongva Park officers recognized a subject from an earlier
radio call. Officers later learned the subject was on parole and was out of compliance with his parole
agent. The subject was placed under arrest. A search of the subject led to the recovery of a dirk
concealed in his sweater pocket. Frank Charles Adams, 54, homeless was arrested for possession of a
dirk/dagger and a parole violation. He was denied bail.
