On October 3 at about 7:30 p.m.

A patrol officer was driving in the 600 block of Ocean Avenue when he witnessed a male in possession of a shopping cart containing recyclables, and at a city owned trash bin removing items in violation of the City’s municipal code. The officer recognized this individual as a suspect who has been trespassing on resident’s property as well as acting aggressively towards them. When the officer contacted the individual he became verbally aggressive and uncooperative with him. The officer was unable to identify this individual, so subsequently placed him under arrest. Luis Alredo Aguilar, 26, of Los Angeles, was arrested for theft of recyclables. Bail was set at $500.
