On November 13, at 3:15 pm, officers responded to a male subject walking up to various cars on the 1100 block of Colorado Avenue and trying their door handles in a frenzied state. One of the employees observed the suspect try his car door and activated his panic alarm. The suspect then left the location on an e scooter. Officers were able to locate the suspect in the area and take him into custody.
Leonard Edward Tartt, 19, of Los Angeles, was booked for vehicle tampering. His bail was set at $300.
