Officers responded to Shutters Hotel for complaints about a subject who was on the beach side of the hotel threatening to kill people. Officers detained the subject of the radio call. Two women made contact with the officers on scene and said they were walking their dogs when the suspect came towards them and started yelling profanities. They walked away but the suspect continued to yell at them, threatening to kill them. Maximilian Salvador Velasquez, 31, homeless, was arrested for criminal threats. Bail was set at $50,000.
