Crime Watch

On Saturday, October 2, at approximately 1 a.m.
Officers to a radio call of a “Battery Just Occurred” near the 2500 block of Pico Boulevard. The comments of the call indicated an unknown subject broke into the reporting party’s apartment and beat him up. Additionally, the comments of the call stated the subject was still inside of the apartment and refusing to leave. Upon arrival it was determined that the parties were acquaintances and the suspect, after a verbal altercation, hit the victim over the head with a flat-screen television. The victim refused treatment at the scene. Ines Ricardo Montes Alonzo, 30 years old from Van Nuys was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and transported to the Santa Monica Jail.
