On Friday, December 31 at 5:05 p.m.
Officers responded to the 100 block of Hollister Ave. regarding a Burglary. The victim left her apartment and upon returning the next day found the lights were on and could hear music. SMPD arrived and located a subject inside the victim’s house. Mary Elizabeth Neace, 31 years old from Lancaster, was arrested for Burglary. After being transported to the Santa Monica jail, Neace was found to be wearing the victim’s jewelry.
