On Nov. 6, at approximately 5:22 p.m.
The Santa Monica Police Department responded to 815 Montana Avenue regarding a purse snatch type of robbery. The crime, which occurred in the parking lot, was witnessed by a several individuals; however, the police were unable to get a detailed description. Officers interviewed several witnesses at the scene and are working to obtain video surveillance images. It is possible a white van was involved as well as a Black woman.
