Officers were dispatched to TJ Maxx near the 1200 block of 4th St. regarding a theft. The reporting party explained that they observed the subject take a ticket scanner (worth approximately $1200) from the register and put it in her sweater pocket. The employee asked her to return the item and the subject refused. An SMPD Public Service Officer located the subject on the 1300 block of 3rd St. Kristal Geraldine Alexis was arrested for Grand Theft.
