Officers responded to the 200 block of Ocean Avenue regarding a stolen vehicle. The reporting party worked for a security company who had been hired after a residence nearby had been burglarized and the victim’s vehicle taken. The security guard stated he saw an individual walk out of two separate homes and enter the vehicle that had been previously stolen from his employer. He followed the subject and contacted him, the subject exited the vehicle and left. Upon police arrival, officers detained the subject and located the stolen vehicle. Inside the vehicle, officers found methamphetamine on the center console. Ultimately, Albert Felipe Martinez was arrested for Grand Theft Auto and Possession of Methamphetamine.
