Officers working the Downtown Services Unit responded to a call on the 1300 block of the 3rd St. Promenade. Dispatch advised that a subject was refusing to leave the location and had thrown things around and pushed a downtown ambassador. Upon arrival, officers detained the subject and spoke to the ambassador who had been assaulted. The victim relayed that the subject had become belligerent and had shoved him after the ambassador had asked him to leave the location due to his erratic behavior. Devon Godlock was arrested for assault.
