On Sunday May 8 at about 1 a.m.
Officers responded to Ye Ole Kings Head near the 100 block of Santa Monica Blvd, regarding a battery that had just occurred. Dispatch relayed that an individual attacked patrons and was being held by security. Witnesses stated the suspect, Carrington Blade, hit the security guard in the head with a closed fist multiple times after being refused entry. Blade was arrested and transported to the Santa Monica Jail. He was released with a citation.
