Officers from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department notified SMPD they were looking for Thomas Aaron Brothers, a suspected wanted for damaging vehicles and homes in Malibu with a pickaxe.
Brothers was seen getting of a Metro bus in Santa Monica at Ocean and Colorado but officers did not immediately find him at that location. Sheriff deputies returned several hours later and found Brothers near the California Incline. After a brief chase, Brothers was arrested in a bathroom on the beach.
